THE YEAR OF THE CLOWNS

Share This:

Clown madness is surging across the country as creepy clown encounters have become as common as sightings of Bigfoot.  The hysteria surrounding this clown frenzy is not only excessive but this national turmoil is bordering on the ridiculous.  Supposedly, the craze began in late August when there were unsubstantiated reports that clowns were trying to lure children into the woods.  But I contend that it began much earlier than August.  This entire year  should be renamed ‘The Year of the Clowns.’

If we are to be honest and fair, the clodhopping jesters with the painted faces and a resemblance to Bozo may be ugly and simpleminded, but calling them creepy when the nation has had to deal with the likes of the Washington D.C. politicians is quite disingenuous.  My gosh, the country has had to tolerate the clown, Joe Biden, for almost eight years, and everyone’s a dither over some guy with pancake makeup on his face.  Really?

And then we have the mainstream media clowns.  Just how creepy is the NBC anchor and managing news editor for ‘NBC Nightly News’,  Brian Williams?  The guy is a news reporter, and he has no credibility.  Exposed for being a pathological liar, Williams lied about boasting that he had been in Berlin the day the wall fell, flying into Baghdad with Seal Team Six, the team that carried out the raid that killed Osama bin Laden, about his meeting with the Pope, and he concocted scores of other deliberate fabrications.   The executive clowns at NBC decide to rehire Williams as the anchor for MSNBC saying that Williams’ credibility  issue is ancient history.  Chronic lying is an unabated and deep-rooted characteristic. Chronic liars do not abruptly mend their ways.  Williams is a proven liar, but the fools at NBC trust him to be truthful, and what’s worse is that they believe the American people to be moronic enough to now believe him.

The Big Top wouldn’t be complete without the three-ring spectacle of dolts in Hollywood.  The antics of celebrities such as Sean Penn, Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt, Michael Moore, Barbra Streisand, Kanye West, George Clueless, and many other left-wing loons should have been enough to put the  Ringling Brothers out of business.  These high dollar intellectual lightweights have been so coddled that they don’t even recognize their own incapacity for critical thinking.   These overindulged hotshots are nothing more than simpletons with a God complex.

How about those carnival kooks in sports entertainment?  We’ve got Colin ‘the Black Clown’ Kaepernick singing to the tune of millions of dollars per year for playing football, and this joke of a man has the audacity to complain about discrimination in America.   Soccer star Megan Rappinoe displayed  her inner bozo when she kneeled during the anthem at a soccer game and said, “Being a gay American, I know what it is to look at the flag and not have it protect all your liberties.”  Well, we know one thing, Megan.  The American flag mandates Christians to bake you a wedding cake if you marry a female.”

Scott Bonn, a criminologist and professor of sociology at Drew University in New Jersey states, “The problem with clowns is really the fact that they’re not real.  We don’t know what’s beneath that makeup.  It could be anyone or anything.  They’re actually very frightening.”  If that’s the case, Mr. Bonn, then I guess it’s normal for Americans to have a phobia of Muslim women in Burqas.  We don’t know what’s beneath the burqa.  It could be anyone or anything.

And if Mr. Bonn’s theory is correct, we should all be afraid of actors and actress.  They are never who they portray.  And what’s beneath all of that makeup?  Perhaps, they are the more serious clowns.  Professional athletics is a festival of mental midgets or coordinated clowns, with a few exceptions.

Americans  have watched in horror as clowns such as Barack Obama,  Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Sheila Jackson Lee, Dick Durbin, Al Franken, Bernie Sanders, Chuck Schumer, Barbra Lee, Maxine Waters, Alan Grayson, Hank Johnson, John Lewis, Bobby Rush, Elijah Cummings, John Conyers, Charlie Rangel, and many others have performed their magic acts on We the People.  We have witnessed the juggling act as they have tossed our economy, way of life, and future into the trash bin of failed republics.

Clowns are people who masquerade as  comic entertainers.  Politicians, celebrities, professional athletes, and media marvels are clowns who masquerade as competent people.  How can any American be afraid of a killer clown?  We’ve been surrounded by them for years.

  1. As usual, your thoughts are insightful and point on. I came to your web page today to see if you had yet published your thoughts on Trump’s latest gaff. I will never vote for Hillary, but Trump is pushing my sensibilities.

    • I have been working on something else, Michael, but I will try to get to that. But I agree. I will never vote for Hillary, but Trump just keeps pushing voters away.
