On January 23, 2013, Hillary Clinton sat before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee giving testimony as to why she had lied about the motive of the Benghazi attack which had left four Americans dead. Clinton had originally blamed the attacks on a spontaneous protest in response to an anti-Islam video which had been posted on Youtube. When pressed by Republican Senator Ron Johnson as to why she and the Obama administration had deceived the American people with the absurd concocted story about the video, Clinton shrugged her shoulders in exasperation and said, “What difference does it make?”
Those words will forever be remembered by not just the families of the four slain men, but by the American people who honor and respect each and every American who serve this nation both at home and abroad. Because these five words, ‘What difference does it make’ was the window into Clinton’s soul. This woman, who had so callously lied to the families of the dead men, was being honest at this moment. She had no regret or remorse for the men who were slaughtered at the Benghazi Compound. In truth, their deaths made no difference to her nor did the manner in which they were killed.
Hillary Clinton had an agenda. She wanted to be the first woman president of the United States. And she wanted this title and power as much as she wanted the air that she breathes. Nothing in the world made a whit of difference to her. Her only concerns have been obstacles that were in her path on the road to the White House. She was willing to cheat, lie, and put Americans in danger to achieve her coveted desires.
But as Hillary was to find out tonight, her actions made a helluva lot of difference to every day Americans. After living the past twenty-five years in the national spotlight, deceiving the American people without repercussion, thanks to a complicit media, this woman discovered that in the end, she is accountable to We the People, not the media. Eaten up with ambition and a thirst for power, she failed to recognize the real Americans who do care about the republic, who do care about the insanity of progressivism, and who do care about the rule of law.
During the Benghazi Hearing, when questioned by Trey Gowdy, the Chairman of the Benghazi Committee, Clinton smirked and laughed inappropriately when questioned about her actions and inactions which led to the deaths of Tyrone Wood, Sean Smith, Chris Stevens, and Glenn Doherty. As I watched the hearings, I was appalled at the cavalier Clinton, confident in her power to evade questions and avoid the wrath of God which should have poured down upon her by the examiners. I have never before witnessed such a smug and obstinate ‘defendant’ literally mocking the men and women that she should have been fearing. But Clinton felt so powerful within the Washington beltway amidst the elites from the establishment, that she didn’t even break a sweat.
Hillary Clinton has not only expected to be the first woman president, but she has felt entitled to the position. Her email scandal, her Benghazi debacle, the WikiLeaks disclosure, Vince Foster’s questionable death, Whitewater, Travelgate, and the multitude of other nefarious activities of which she has been exposed, were irrelevant to the ice queen. She escaped each and every one thanks to an incompetent and corrupt media. But more importantly she avoided accountability because of the complete lack of moral instinct or logical inclinations of her Democrat base. Hillary Clinton survived twenty-five years in the political game, because she was fueled by the ignorance and indecency of the Democrat electorate.
But all across America, tucked quietly away in their humble abodes, exhausted from an endless work schedule, and struggling to pay their bills after paying exorbitant taxes, were tens of millions of Americans. These Americans were sick and tired of paying not only their fair share of taxes, but for those who do nothing but exist off of the working man’s back. And they took notice of what Clinton and her Democrat Party were about.
As AC DC sings, “It’s a Long Way to the Top,” and if anyone should know that it is Hillary Clinton. And she will live with the knowledge that she didn’t make it to the top.
We the People have had enough, and tonight we sent a loud forceful message to Hillary Clinton, which was, “WE DON’T WANT YOU, HILLARY, BECAUSE TO US, IT MAKES A HELLUVA LOT OF DIFFERENCE!”
