I admit straight up that I was not an original Donald Trump supporter, but I was an avid Hillary Clinton detractor. While there are things I like about Trump, there are things I don’t like about him. My vote for Trump was an anti-Hillary vote. So, when I praise Trump, it is with objectivity as the man must earn my sincerest respect.
The last two weeks have been entertaining, enlightening, and delightful as I have watched the crumbling of the Democrat Party, the Clinton Dynasty, and the liberal sycophants. The public bedwetting of the college kids and their Marxist professors has shed a spotlight on upper academia, and what that light has exposed is repulsive in terms of the inadequacy of our educational system. We knew our universities were a shambles, but we were not prepared for the rude awakening we received. Our schools of higher learning are a disaster, and they are stunting the emotional growth of our kids.
But with that said, I have to announce with good cheer and glee that Christmas came early for me today as I read a news report in the New York Post which tickled me pink and a Christmas red. During an off-the-record Trump Tower sitdown with media big shots, Donald Trump scolded the elite group of so-called journalists. The meeting was held in a board room with thirty to forty big name media personalities with the anchors from the major networks. The media was expecting details as to their access of Trump.
Unfortunately for the media, Trump kept repeating, “We are in a room of liars.” He singled out Jeff Zucker and said that CNN was a network of liars. He referred to a “horrible network correspondent who hosted a debate but cried when Hillary Clinton lost the election. He was referring to Martha Radditz.
The reporters were stunned, but could not get a word in edgewise. One of the attendees described the meeting as being like a “fu***ng firing squad.” Another described the meeting as a total disaster. Trump addressed everyone in the room, alleging that the media are dishonest and deceitful liars.
Complete with its elite arrogance, the media celebrities expected to saunter into Trump Towers and receive the royal honor that they are used to receiving from lawmakers and presidents. Media butt kissing is expected by the media hotshots. Donald Trump’s dressing down does not fit into their self aggrandizing role.
The mainstream media has heavily influenced the function of government for over three decades. The indoctrinating performance of the media is largely responsible for the rise of the Clintons, the expansion of progressive policy, and an ignorant populace. Good and decent lawmakers are paralyzed by a corrupt media which distorts the truth through omission of news which doesn’t fit their agenda, the slanting of stories to manipulate the reader, and good old fashioned blatant lying.
The American media no longer has a regard for truth in reporting. They are soaking up the sun and the power with the establishment elite politicians. They consider themselves to possess an authority with which they can destroy the life of any person whom they perceive to be a threat to their establishment and their supremacy.
The goons of the loathsome media are so out-of-touch with the American people and the purpose of their journalistic jurisdiction in society that they assumed that they could root for Hillary Clinton, cry when she lost, treat Donald Trump with contempt, and then order a command performance from Trump at will. Their egotism and hubris can only be described as staggering.
From all appearances, President-elect Trump is not going to go easy on the media. And he shouldn’t. “A room of liars, indeed.”
God Bless America!
