Finally, Conservatives are getting in the groove. They are going on the offensive rather than to continue to play the defensive. And their activism is bringing results.
Starbucks consumer perception levels have fallen by two-thirds since they responded to President Trump’s immigration executive order by announcing that they would hire 10,000 Muslim migrants. #BoycottStarbucks began a social media movement which has changed the perception of the company. While it is still too early to have the desired effect of a financial loss, the negative perception is a positive for Conservatives.
On another culture war front, a conservative group called the Tempe Republican Women began a campaign urging Conservatives to boycott the Oscars. These conservative ladies are leading the charge against the “bitter, arrogant, angry, and divisive” anti-Trump Hollywood celebrities.
Calling out Meryl Streep, Miley Cyrus, Jennifer Lawrence, and Madonna, the group wrote, “These arrogant, pampered, pompous, soulless, individuals declare that half of Americans are racist, sexist, and bigoted for voicing our political choice through Donald Trump. Yet there can be no doubt that the entertainment industry does more to exploit, degrade, minimize, and stereotype women than Donald Trump or any other industry ever has.” Magnificent! Women after my own heart!!
It is energizing to know that though belatedly, the Conservatives have done more than just suit up for the game. They have come off of the benches. It may be the eleventh hour, but the clock has not struck twelve. And it is high time that Hollywood elitists who are trying to take down the republic by not accepting the results of our national election, feel the consequences of their snub to We the People.
Elsewhere in the country, Trump supporters are organizing pro-America rallies. They are finally taking to the streets in support of their president and country. They are standing for the United States Constitution and her sovereignty.
It’s just the beginning, but it’s the birth of a movement! Game On!
