THE UNITED STATES MILITARY IS ABOUT WINNING WARS; IT’S NOT ABOUT INCLUSION AND FEELINGS

President Trump announced this morning that he is barring transgender people from serving in the military in any capacity. He points out that his Generals and military experts have advised him that the extreme medical costs and disruption to the military are reason enough to stop the practice of allowing transgenders to serve.

Trump tweeted, “After consultation with my Generals and military experts, please be advised that the United States Government will not accept or allow Transgender individuals to serve in any capacity in the United States Military. Our military must be focused on decisive and overwhelming victory and cannot be burdened with the tremendous medical costs and disruption that transgenders in the military would entail. Thank you.”

Celebrate! Celebrate! Dance to the music! Am I hearing or reading Trump’s words correctly? Do we finally have a president who understands the purpose of the United States Military, that being providing the best defense possible to the citizens of the United States of America?

Our leaders and the Pentagon have been setting aside all common sense and reframed the mission of the military to prioritize social justice programs and social experimentation rather than to provide the necessary forces and capabilities in support of the National Security and Defense strategies to deter war.

Presently, there are at least 250 service members in the process of transitioning to their “preferred” gender. And the Left wants us to believe that these transitioning personnel do not hinder the performance of the military. A Rand Corp. study estimates that between 2500 and 7000 transgender troops and an additional 4000 in the reserves are on active duty.

It defies logic that service members “transitioning” to their “preferred gender” are assumed to be mentally stable. Any individual so confused about his or her own gender that he or she wants to begin the process of hormone therapy and gender reassignment while employed by the American people to defend and protect the republic, is a detriment to the armed forces.

It is a reasonable assumption to put forth the argument that transgenders in the military could very well and most probably interfere or quell the readiness and lethality of the entirety of the active duty troops. An individual with the anatomy of a man begins hormone therapy with massive doses of estrogen being administered to his testosterone-laden body, and I am supposed to believe that he is emotionally and mentally unaffected by this hormonal assault upon his body. C’mon now.

While in the military, a man has his penis removed so as to become a transgender woman, and Average Joe American is supposed to believe that he is emotionally unaffected after having his penis whacked off. Thinking about doing it and doing it are two different things.

Any individual who transitions to the opposite gender is focused on the extreme changes to his body. He is not fixating his attention on the enemy at hand. Transitioning people are about “self.” They are absorbed with their own identities, and hardly capable of converging their mental and physical selves to fight America’s foes.

The LBGT crowd wants the United States taxpayer to foot the bill for transgenders to enter the United States Military and begin hormone therapy and have gender reassignment surgery, which is approximately a cost of $100,000 per individual. Months of recovery are needed after the surgeries.

We can only imagine the influx of persons into the military for the purpose of having the expensive transgender therapy and surgery.

Mental acuity and emotional stability are crucial components of an effective combat force. We are putting all of our troops at a disadvantage when we pamper and introduce individuals into the ranks who are struggling with their own identity. We are catering to delusion.

President Trump needs congratulated for standing up to the LBGT community and putting the national security of the American people first and foremost. The United States Military is not about inclusion and feeling warm and fuzzy.

It is about war! Do you got that, Cupcake!

  1. Right on again, as usual. As a veteran I can only shudder at the thought of this.

Now to a different point. What is your thought on the current crop of feckless republicans in D.C. today? My suspicion has long been that no politician regardless of party has any concern for the average citizen, looking out only for themselves and their donors for the next election. Would be interested in your take on that. Ready to go it?

    • Jim, I think that there are a handful of decent and righteous republicans in Congress today. Mike Lee, Dave Brat, and Ted Cruz, are convicted men as are Justin Amash, Jim Jordan, and Mark Meadows. And there are others, but they are powerless. They have been penalized for their stoic pursuit of conservative policy and their unwillingness to play the Washington games by being blackballed from committees and chairmanship positions. So, these republicans are never in the limelight. They receive little attention, but they are there. Many republicans have gotten themselves involved in the corruption which runs the city, and I think others have fallen prey to sexual dalliances which has opened them up to blackmail. Many vote against their convictions to protect their positions and like you suggested, attract donors. The real problem is not the average republican congressman. The problem lies with men like John McCain and Lindsay Graham who have garnered so much power through the years that they dictate to and threaten the newcomers……….Likewise, the democrats might have one decent representative in Washington, and I say that lightly just to be generous. I can’t name one democrat that I respect, because by the very nature of being in the democrat party, a person has to surrender his values and principles.
